BSF offers a large variety of shrimp, conveniently packed for our foodservice and retail customers.  Our inventory carries everything from 10 ounce to 10 pound bags to selectively meet each and every customers need.


Shrimp can be found in numerous counts and sizes, depending on their form and variety of species. They range from under ten to over three hundered per pound. The larger the count per pound, the smaller the shrimp size. Our U/15 shrimp contains under fifteen shrimp per pound, which means they are fairly large in size. Prepping shrimp is as easy as thawing them under cold running water for a couple of minutes. From here on, shrimp is best enjoyed boiled or grilled.

To Boil: Add shrimp to boiling water. For added flavor, put a dash of paprika, a bay leaf and a dash of salt in the boiling water. Shrimp is cooked when tail is curled and shrimp is pink.

To Grill: It is best to make sure the shrimp is peeled before proceeding to grill. Use an exclusive Sea Best Recipe, or your favorite marinade. Thread shrimp on wooden skewers and grill for about 2-3 minutes. They’re perfect for any appetizer recipe or for your main course.
